For the Love

Do you know that I LOVE writing?!!! For as much as I love it, I do not know why I don't ensure that I take better care to write frequently. I suppose the last year's events have something to do with it. Blah! But that is always the case, a good writer will write and capture life's greatest events so that they are remembered instead of lazily letting them pass by without documentation!
So I am married! That is the biggest life change since last year when I last wrote. But actually, my last blog entry was in regards to the trip when and where I unknowingly met my soon-to-be spouse! And I had no idea when I wrote that blog entry! Life is sure silly. :D
I also LOVE being creative! Creativity lets my moving-a-million-miles-an-hour mind slow down and focus on putting my creative thoughts into some physical creation. Photography, fashion (its not as base as it sounds), food, music, greeting cards, my writing, and other random art projects are just a few of my loves!
Brilliant, Vibrant, & Original. I am drawn to those things that capture originality, brilliance, and vibrancy... colors, cultures, personalities, sports, competition, energy, friendships, emotions, goals, dreams, adventures, world perspectives, and of course writing!
If I could find enough avenues to satiate my thirst for self expression through the latter avenues... I would be utterly happy and completely awe-struck at the miracle of simple joys and their availability to me. No doubt I would have to massage my cheeks which would have grown tired and cramped from smiling with delight all day long. (that really does happen on occasion... which I love!)
I'm hoping that eventually I will not have to dedicate 10-11 hours a day to a job that takes up my valuable creative time and instead leaves me with stress and a plethora of mundane functions. But in the meantime, I will try to nourish my appetite for creativity at least with small portions of self expression and learning so that I may increase my talent and the ease in which to do those things.
Sounds like a good New Year's resolution to me. Stay tuned for something creative. ;)
